Why Do We Celebrate Bhogi Festival?
Bhogi is celebrated to mark the end of the old and the beginning of the new-both materially and symbolically. It is observed mainly in parts of South India as the first day of the Pongal festival, honoring renewal, gratitude, and preparation for a fresh agricultural cycle.
