Perfex CRM offers a web-based email client module that allows employees to send, receive, draft, and manage emails from their IMAP accounts from their dashboard. This module requires an Internet Message Access Protocol (IMAP) account that accepts SSL/TLS connections from a third-party application. To use this module, users must have a properly configured cronjob of Perfex and ensure their account is based on IMAP. The module is a one-way sync tool that retrieves unread inbox messages and uses the email address associated with the staff member account to log in to the IMAP server. The module also parses emails in plain text mode to prevent dangerous code from being performed within the dashboard. Installation and activation take just a few seconds.
